Dear diary, oops.. blog pala! hehehe ok here we go..
My adventure started with this simple meal in Iloilo
*Gardenia wheat bread, scrambled egg, spicy Century tuna with garlic bits. ü
My flight leaves at 3pm so i decided to wander for a while in SM City Iloilo. The shuttle is just beside the mall and it only takes about 20 mins to get to the airport.. So with still enough time, I printed out my gifts for special DFF 2010 peeps.

Nothing exciting really happened at the airport. Oh! Maybe just the time when I left my umbrella to a willing airport police since umbrellas are not allowed to be hand-carried into the plane. It worried me a bit. Well you can't blame me, I love that umbrella! :P
When the plane took off, it was rainy. The Cebu Pacific Airline's in-flight game was guess-guessing a specific country's currency name. I did not participate at all. I just listened a bit, then went straight back to sleep.. zzZzzZZZZ
Now when the plane landed in Manila at around 4pm, it was also rainy.
I waited for like an hour for the shuttle bus.
I then shuttled my way to Edsa/Taft for 20 pesos.
I then rode sardinely by MRT going to Boni station for 12 pesos.
I then looked around, found, bought, and used an umbrella for 60 pesos.
I then walked the rainy streets of 5-6 blocks towards California Garden Square.
Enough with the "I then"s!!! hahaha
I stayed at Chaster Dwin's place and also met up with a friend after dinner.

After getting ready to sleep, the excited feeling for the next day's event came to me.
It left me a bit sleepless all night.
By Cinderella time I get to meet Dwin's condo-mate Jerms.
Luckily, for free, I got lulled by his singin', guitarin', storyin', zzZzzZzZzZZZ
July 9 Saturday: Rainy 2nd day (this is it! the 9WAVES day!!!!!)
Woke up 5am, bathed then left California.
I rode the tricycle for P7.00 going Shaw MRT Station "crossing". Then finally, I met Chastin again, yey! (we last saw each other last Oct., DFF 2010) She's with a few familiar lookin' Chasters at the Starmall nearby. We rode a jeepney on to our official meeting place, Cherry Foodarama where a big red wet bus is already waitin' for us. :)

*On the way to 9Waves, I was following the bus' movement with my trusty Accu-map map
Even on such a rainy gloomy day, I could feel everyone's excitement inside the bus.
And yeah, I really didn't talk much.. Shy-mode.. that's me :)
Gave my pasalubongs (buttered toasts & scotches) hmmm hopefully they liked it..
plus extra candy treats from a fellow chaster.

Alas! We have arrived!! By this time i was so excited to swim, yes swiiiim! ü I didn't take a lot of photos all throughout the day. I saw a lot of chasters having cameras with them so i figured they ought to have everything covered then. :) All day, i shot a few random shots. About 60% of the time i was either swimming, sliding or battling the waves. hehehe I really had a blast. I'm happy how the weather behaved...clouds, rain, wind and all hehehe. And a lot of us in the group agreed on that too, at least no sunburns! :)

My purpose for having this mini trip to Manila is mainly to attend this wonderful 9Waves Chaster event. I think it's safe to say that at this time I have already accomplish that! Here are some points I want to share from that day:
1. When Mammi Rakz arrived unexpectedly that afternoon, some of us Chasters are still swimming the wave pool. :) But thanks to miss Tintol, we swimmers, were informed. We ran like crazy back to the pavilion after. When the rest of us got there, everyone else's already in a Mammi-frenzy! :) Obviously, I couldn't afford to lose precious time so I didn't mind not changing back into dry clothes. I'm so happy mammi didn't even mind either, having our picture taken even when I was dripping water all over. Oh wow! How I love her even more! :)
2. Videokehey! The videoke machine sang the whole day. I don't know if all of us had the chance to sing it but I'm sure most of us did. I think I sang 3 songs throughout the day.. ^Closer You and I ^You're A God and ^I'll Be. How did I sound?? Beats me. I'm just glad to sing for everyone. No matter how I sounded.
3. Seriously, I did 40+ slides throughout the day!! fun ei?!! I have my sliding buddies to thank for that, Carl, Millie and the rest of the sliding gang! It's so much fun sliding with you guys!! :) Carl even devised a sliding technique to go down the ride faster. I dunno if I could share it to you but to be safe, you go ask him if your interested enough to know his secret sliding technique. But beware though, it's a risky one. Be careful so you wont end up what I took home..

We left the resort earlier than planned, I think.. :) Well, everyone got roof-high high when mammi rakz came so I guess we ran out of energy after that. We rode the same red bus back. Everyone's a bit quiet all the way back except on times when fellow Chasters says his/her goodbyes upon being dropped off.. The last stop? still on Cherry Foodarama. As for me, I still have to go all the way to Kabayan hotel in Pasay to check into my reserved room. Before I went my way, I bid everyone my hugs and goodbyes... Little did they know that this was hard for me because I know it would be a tad while before I could be with them again.... :'( I sure enjoyed everyone's company! I did try to talk to each one somehow. I know I didn't get to know some Chasters more. Sorry but I'll be back to see you all again and by then bond more with everyone else I didn't! :) See Ya!
